By visiting our website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
You agree not to use our website for anything unlawful or in a way that could damage the website or interfere with other visitors' use of it.
We may occasionally update these terms. The latest version will always be available on our website. Any changes will not affect orders already placed.
3. Artwork and images
All photographs and artwork shown on this website are created by Jane van Bostelen, unless otherwise stated.
We take care to show each piece as accurately as possible. However, colours may look slightly different depending on your screen and its settings. Small variations in appearance may also occur during the printing and production process.
Each artwork's product description provides information about its size, materials, edition and other relevant details.
Please read the product description carefully before placing your order.
4. Placing an order
When you place an order, you will receive an email confirming that we have received it.
Your order forms a purchase agreement once your order has been accepted by us. We will contact you if we are unable to fulfil an order.
If an order cannot be fulfilled and payment has already been made, you will receive a full refund.
Please check your delivery and contact details carefully when placing an order.
5. Prices and payment
All prices are shown in the currency stated on the website and include VAT where applicable.
Delivery costs are shown separately before you complete your order.
Payment must be made using one of the payment methods available at checkout.
We reserve the right to change prices at any time. However, price changes will not affect orders already placed and accepted.
6. Production and delivery
Jane van Bostelen is a small independent art business. We don't mass-produce or hold large stocks. Each artwork is carefully produced, printed and, where applicable, framed to a high standard.
Orders are usually dispatched within 1–4 weeks of payment. The expected production and dispatch time will be communicated before you place your order.
If we are unable to deliver within the agreed period, we will contact you to explain the delay and agree on a suitable solution.
If we cannot deliver within the agreed period, you may have the right to cancel your order and receive a refund in accordance with applicable consumer law.
We take care to package all artwork securely. The risk of loss or damage remains our responsibility until the artwork has been delivered to you.
Delivery times depend on the destination country and the delivery service used.
7. Returns and the right to cancel
For online purchases, consumers generally have the legal right to cancel their order within 14 days of receiving the artwork, without giving a reason.
If you wish to cancel your order, you must notify us within this period. Once you have notified us, you have a further 14 days to return the artwork.
Unless the artwork is faulty, damaged or incorrect, you are responsible for the direct cost of returning it.
Certain products, including artwork made to your individual specifications or clearly personalised for you, may be exempt from the legal right to cancel. This will be explained before you place your order.

Your statutory consumer rights are not affected by these terms.
8. Damaged, faulty or incorrect orders
We take great care to package and send all artwork securely.
If your artwork arrives damaged, faulty or does not match your order, please contact us at support@fromjane.nl, providing photographs where possible.
We will resolve the issue in accordance with your statutory consumer rights, which may include a repair, replacement or refund, as appropriate.
You will not be charged for resolving a problem that is our responsibility.

9. Copyright and intellectual property
All photographs, artwork, images and text on this website are protected by copyright and belong to Jane van Bostelen, unless stated otherwise.
You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, publish or use any of this material without prior written permission.
Purchasing an artwork does not transfer its copyright. Copyright and all reproduction rights remain with the artist.
10. Our website
We do our best to keep the website accurate and up to date. However, occasional errors, technical problems or interruptions may occur.
We may update, change or remove website content, artwork or services from time to time.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any rights or remedies you have under applicable consumer law.
11. Privacy
We respect your privacy and handle your personal information with care.
Information you provide when placing an order or contacting us is used to process your order, arrange delivery and respond to your enquiries.

Please include your order number and a description of the issue so that we can help you.

These Terms & Conditions are governed by Dutch law.
If you are a consumer living in another country, this does not affect any mandatory consumer protection rights you may have under the laws of your country of residence.
